How to get here
There are several cityguides to help you find the Department. For example you may use Krak to see a map and the Route Planner to find your way by public transport.
From the Airport
Taxi to the Department costs about DKK 250,-(Ask for Universitetsparken 5)
Airport to central Copenhagen costs about DKK 200,-.
Public transport: To get to the Department of Chemistry take a train (runs every 10 min) or subway (runs every 5 min) to Nørreport Station. Travelling time is about 15 min. From Nørreport Station take bus no's A6, 42, 43, 150S, 184 or 185.
Tickets: ticket-automats are near the elevator to the train tracks or on the subway platform. You need a three-zone ticket, price: DKK 34.50. All public transport tickets in Copenhagen are valid on bus, train and subway.
Traveling from Downtown/Nørreport
Bus no. 42, 43, 150S, 184 og 185 run from Nørreport Station to the University Park. Get off at the University Park ('Universitetsparken').
Taxi from Nørreport Station to the Department costs about DKK 100.
Tickets
From downtown you need a a two-zone-ticket (DKK 23) to get to the University Park.
There are ticket-automats at all subways and train stations. Tickets can also be bought from the busdriver.
Each zone-ticket lasts for 30 minutes (three zones = 1.5 hours). More information about routes, tickets, tables can be found at DOT's website.
Danish cash
A bank service is available in the airport baggage reclaim area or at the arrival hall in Terminal 3. Furthermore, there are banks and money exchange offices downtown. Banks close at 4PM.
