Affiliation prolonged
Professor and co-PI at CHEAC, Matthias Arenz has been offered and accepted another five years as an affiliated professor at Department of Chemistry/UCPH.
In 2016 Matthias Arenz left UCPH and Denmark as his place of work to continue his career as a professor at University of Bern, Switzerland. Matthias was involved in several collaborations at UCPH at the time and was granted 'Affiliated Professor in Electrocatalysis' for a five year period.
Since then, the collaboration has been strengthened and Matthias Arenz is one of the cornerstones in the establishment of CHEAC. We have the pleasure of Matthias' company several times a year when he comes to UCPH and shares his knowledge and ideas. And in 2021 Matthias plans for a 6 month sabbatical at UCPH that we very much look forward to.
CHEAC has its strength in the close collaboration between the four PI/co-PI's Jan Rossmeisl, Kirsten Marie Ørnsbjerg Jensen, Maria Escudero Escribano, and Matthias Arenz. And it is a great pleasure to congratulate Matthias Arenz on the continuation of his affiliation for another five year period.
